Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GoodDoktor Healthcare Solutions website and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform") and the services provided by GoodDoktor Healthcare Solutions ("we," "us," or "our"), a company legally registered in Bangladesh under a government trade license. By accessing or using the Platform, you, whether as a Doctor or a Patient (collectively, "User" or "you"), signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

2. Nature of Service

A. Platform Only: The Platform acts solely as a technology platform to connect doctors and patients for the purpose of booking in-person chamber appointments. B. No Medical Advice: GoodDoktor Healthcare Solutions is not a healthcare provider, medical clinic, or hospital. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All medical services, diagnosis, and treatment are provided solely by the independent Doctors you choose to consult. C. Emergency: The Platform is NOT for medical emergencies. In case of a medical emergency, please call 999 or visit the nearest hospital immediately.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1. Doctor Registration and Information: Doctors must provide and consent to the display of their Photo, Name, Gender, Contact Email, BMDC Number, MBBS Passing Year, Degree, Qualification, Present Position, Skills, Conditions Treated, Procedures/Operations Done, Chamber Practice Fee, Location, and Times. 3.2. Patient Registration and Information: Patients must provide their Photo, Name, Mobile Number, Age, Gender, preferred doctor visit area, and diseases they are suffering from. Patient Name, Age, Gender, and Photo may be publicly displayed.

4. Appointment Booking and Fees

A. Booking Fee: Patients must pay a non-refundable small booking fee (currently BDT 20, subject to change) to secure an appointment slot with a Doctor. B. Non-Refundable: The booking fee is non-refundable under all conditions. C. Doctor’s Consultation Fee: The Doctor's professional consultation fee is separate from the Platform's booking fee.

5. Doctor Rating System

A. Rating Mechanism: Doctors are assigned a rating which is a publicly displayed average of a system-generated rating and a patient-given rating. B. Purpose: The rating is provided for comparison purposes only.

6. Community Forum

A. Service: The Platform includes a community forum where Patients can ask questions and Doctors can provide general answers. B. Publicity: Patient Name, Age, Gender, Question, and the corresponding Doctor’s Answer are publicly shown on the Platform. C. General Information Only: Any information provided in the Community Forum is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.

7. Limitation of Liability

GoodDoktor Healthcare Solutions shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify Users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

Acknowledgment: By using GoodDoktor, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.
